Came here looking for some vegan food to try while driving through Winnipeg (I live in the states) and I was not disappointed. I had the Bacun Cheeze burger and it was amazing, the patty was moist and filling and HUGE I also had a side of poutine and it was really good as well. The shake machine was broken so I settled for a hibiscus tea and was not disappointed :) l

The falafel patty combined with the Greek tzatziki sauce and lettuce was delicious. I loved my Mighty Greek burger. The French fries were a bit too greasy for my taste though. My friend loved the side salad with kale. The food was great but inside the restaurant the temperature was sizzling. It was so hot where we were sitting it made our appetite shrink away. We left because it just wasn't comfortable to keep sitting in the heat. I wish they would invest money on a new AC/Air conditioner.

When I first learned that Winnipeg had a vegan burger joint; I was excited to try it out. There initially was two locations now only one remains on Sherbrooke.

I will say I miss the exchange location and not a fan of this location. This is a very small restaurant with an attempt at a chic decor.

There is limited, crowded and rather uncomfortable seating inside. I would say it isnt for large parties and there is no reservations.

There is a small few outside table set ups on the side walk. I dont find the outside seating particualry desirable to enjoy with friends. This is due to being asked for money numerous times by passerbys, high foot traffic & the noise volume on Sherbrooke.

    Parking is certaintly an issue.

Ordering, payment and serving yourself water is done first at the counter like a fast food restuarant.

It is to be noted as of recently cash is not accepted only credit/debit card.

Service can be slow at times and the staff dont often check in with the clientele.

There are a fair amount of unique burgers to choose from with clever names.

Over the years I have tried many on the menu. There is different patty options. I would say the patties themselves are medicore; but the toppings on the burger make it come together. I am not a fan of the bun as I find it underwhelming and go for the option of my burger in a wrap.

Also the menu offers a selection of different vegan poutines, pizzas, coconut soft serve ice cream, salads & hot dogs.

I will say my favorite is the new Hawaiian poutine; a very unique and flavorful poutine.

I also enjoy having the vegan ice cream made into sundae. I will say at times it is noted that the portion size lacks & on several occassions they have ran out or dont have toppings offered.

I will say the price is on the higher end for what you get.

It is a worth a try due to its uniqueness and variety.

Totally vegan spot. I literally decided to go on vacation from Iowa to Winnipeg since Ive never been there. I searched for a vegan restaurant and THAT was my destination.

    1. Food. I got the chili cheeseburger, poutine and shake. The burger was good.  I was exhausted from a 10 hour drive and hungry and it was so big all the pieces kept falling out... so I cant comment on just how delicious it was but I think it was really good haha. The poutine was alright. Im still searching for a place that has vegan cheese curds. The cherry shake was yummy. I went back the next day and got the banana. Unfortunately they only have one flavor of icecream and shake a day so I missed out on my fav (chocolate). Overall happy, many other menu items I would have liked to have tried.

    2. People. Very nice. That evening was like 3 guys all seemed very busy. The next day saw some girls working. It was quite a busy place over the lunch hour.

    3. Location. I am not from the area... it was about 6minutes from my hotel that ended up being close to the forks, so it seems pretty central to what I perceived to be the downtown. However the immediate area there seemed just a bit sketchy.

    4. Place. Small inside. Seats with fake grass haha. Love the big picture with the solo cow. It is cozy.

Overall good visit. Love the 100% vegan menu!!!!!!!!

I must start by saying I did not try a burger, so maybe I would have been more impressed if I had.

I'm not vegan, but at times do eat more vegetarian and will enjoy vegan dishes.

My husband and I were with a vegan couple, they were craving the soft serve so we made a stop. I also tried the vegan soft serve with a waffle cone, and shared a poutine dish with my husband.

The soft serve was good, I wish is was a bit sweeter. The poutine, we sort of hated...it would have been good if the fries were fried. It looked like it was boiled. It was pretty bad. The toppings were tasty, but it was not a poutine I need again ever.

I'll need to try a burger if there is a next time.
